There are so many interesting things, that I choose not to focus. Instead of calling myself a Developer, Platform Engineer or Architect, I prefer being a “Builder”. As a Consultant at Xebia, I used the freedom, peers and resources to pursue my ideas about a new way of learning technology. Traditional show-and-tell training does not build the necessary experience to keep up with technology. Only by doing, you develop applicable skills you can rely on. Accompanied by a great team I created a learning platform focusing on this hands-on experience.
